Vanderbilt Career Center

Since September 2022, I have been the Marketing Intern at my university’s Career Center. At the office, we offer one-on-one counseling services for students, as well as programming for both students and employers alike.

I create graphics for our Instagram, LinkedIn, posters, flyers, and meetings. I also assist with the formation of marketing plans for larger projects and create templates for other members of the Career Center to access and create their own content. Throughout this process, I adhere to the design guidelines of both the Career Center and Vanderbilt University as a whole, to ensure a unified, professional message across all of my designs.

The Career Center’s Signature Collection and Brand Guidelines

Our signature collection was designed by my supervisor and mentor, Jacob Chabowski, and formed the foundation for all of our designs. It follows University brand guidelines while building a unique identity for Career Center content.

Professional Photobooth

We got an Iris photobooth that specializes in taking professional headshots for students to utilize for free. This was definitely a product that we hoped would get a lot of traction, so I worked on a lot of the marketing materials involved in the launch of the photobooth in January 2023. Below are some of the materials I produced, including features on our campus K9, Officer Jack, and an initial Photobooth launch carousel post below.

After our launch, we garnered 4,750 combined impressions on our posts, and over 8,000 combined views on our reels—the most attention we have had on our Instagram account.

Holiday Cards

The Career Center sends holiday cards to their employer partners every year. For 2022, they asked me to design the cards to send out, and this is what I came up with.
